About Abigail

Hi there! My name is Abbey, and I am a full time college student working part-time (full time in the summer). I have not been on this site since 2018 - specifically, back in my hometown of Plainfield, IL. I currently reside in Grand Rapids. For this summer, I'm very flexible and can provide short notice care. I love interacting and playing with the kids I babysit for, like always coming up with fun crafts to do, going to the park, and swimming pool. I am an environmental and sustainability studies major, so I would ultimately like them to be outside in nature. My last nanny job was for an 11 yr old, a 9 yr old, and a 5 yr old (one of them has autism and another has ADHD) So I do have plenty of experience with special needs children. My 5yr old nephew also has high-functioning autism & is nonverbal. I'm looking for an easy-going job this summer because I am free a lot of the time (since I won't be back in school until the Fall).
