About Abigail

Hello! My name is Abby, after graduating from Binghamton University in '22 I have returned to work towards a Masters in Teaching. I have plenty of experience with childcare and I have always enjoyed my work. I've worked in educational settings at a Children's Science Museum for about 5 years with kids 6+ helping children explore science and Stony Brook University Childcare in the preschool classroom where I helped kids aged 3-5 develop their social and creative skills. Most recently I worked as a Teaching Assistant at a private school on Long Island. Outside of the educational realm I've worked with three families over the past few years with kids ranging from 2 months to 9 years. I have been responsible for picking up from school/day care, meal prep, homework help and light cleaning. My favorite part about working with children is the curiosity and excitement that stems from the exploration of their environments.
