About Abigail

Hello! Here's a little bit about my history of working with kids! I have been looking after kids since I was about 10 years old and I've always found it extremely fulfilling. When I was 15 I worked in the Child Care at my church with preschoolers for 3 years. We would play at playgrounds and perform simple crafts with the children. I was certified to supervise up to 12 children on my own. Summer of 2013, I worked as a Unit Counselor at a overnight camp ground for 8 weeks. I worked with ages between 5-14. I would supervise and care for up to 12 girls at a time. I helped to time manage our activities. We would perform arts and crafts, earn badges, perform water sports, and play games in our free time. I was CPR and First Aid certified in 2014. Since then, I have been working with kids on a babysitting basis, and have been working in retail and food service. I am looking for a fulfilling career working with children again!
