I have been working with children since the age of 16, and it has been such a fulfilling part of my life. Before the pandemic hit, I had been working at a local daycare center for about 7 yrs. Teaching children the fundamental blocks of learning. For example, a lot of our work included ABCs, numbers, shapes, and community outings. We would spend a lot of time outdoors teaching them how to garden, doing fun and interactive obstacle courses in the grass, and even taking time to feed the birds on our nature walks. I personally like to form a bond with each child and really get to know what works best for them when it comes to learning. Establishing a safe positive and trusting environment for each child is my main priority. It helps them flourish and become the best version of themselves.
