About Adelaide

I'm a Palliative nursing assistant working at Hospice of the Chesapeake with 18 years experience. I'd describe my personality as very compassionate fun loving and a great conversationalist. I like caring for seniors because of my ability to make a difference in their lives. Aging comes with a lot of changes and challenges which can be hard on many seniors. Being a senior caregiver gives me the opportunity to create a positive impact on their physical and emotional wellbeing during the most fragile and stressful moments. An example is, right after high school I had the opportunity to go to London and I took care of an elderly lady with ALS that nobody understood but we got along very well and I fell in love with the elderly because I feel I would be able to be their voice. In my spare time, I like to read, watch TV. I also enjoy singing.
