About Adele

I have just recently retired from North Attleboro Public Schools after 20 years. First as Substitute Teacher, then later accepted a permanent position as a Paraprofessional in Special Education Grade 6. While still working I cared for my parents needs on every level when their health started to decline. It was 10 years of learning and adapting to all their needs mentally and physically. I worked hard with their doctors and my family to keep adapting to their needs as they changed. I believed in educating myself and reached out to services that were available for assistance. I have no regrets with the care and compassion that myself and the rest of my family had given to my parents. After they passed I continued to care for some of their dearest friends. I pass on any knowledge I have learned to others who are just beginning this journey with their loved ones. I believe the only way to understand the needs of others in any capacity is to have been on the journey yourself.
