About Adia

Hi! I'm Adia, a psychology major at Vanderbilt University with experience working with kids of all ages. I've been a youth mentor at the First Tee and a math mentor, supporting younger students in their classes. I'm passionate about child development and aim to create safe, engaging environments where kids can learn and grow. With me, your kids get more than just a babysitter. They'll have someone who's enthusiastic about exploring the world with them. I'm organized, a great planner, and skilled at negotiating with kids when they're being a little stubborn! I bring a nurturing approach, as I hope to become a child and adolescent therapist one day. I prefer a bit of guidance at first, just some general rules, expectations, and a broad schedule for the initial visits, and then I'm ready to take it from there. I'm also happy to help with meal prep, errands, laundry, or anything else to make your day easier. Looking forward to getting to know your family!
