About Ahlea

I absolutely adore kids and love spending time with them. I am the oldest of 10 cousins that all lived within 2 minutes of me so I have been babysitting ever since I can remember. My mom is a kindergarten teacher and I have spent countless hours in the classroom with the kids too. I also worked at the after school program at the school for three years so I was with about 30 kids ranging from preschool to 6th grade every day. I have worked at a daycare with all different age groups as well. after that, I taught preschool for a year and a half. Most recently I have nannied for the same family for almost 3 years, while picking up numerous date nights and side babysitting jobs for people on vacation. I have a lot of different experience with kids and kids usually always tend to like me. I am very responsible.. I can cook or clean if that is needed too. I love doing things outdoors and crafts. All around I just really love being with kids and that is what I want to do.

We were so lucky to have Ahlea watch our boys (age 5 and 2.5) for an evening during our vacation at South Seas/Captiva. She was prompt, very communicative in advance of sitting and while she was watching the kids, and the kiddos had a wonderful time while we enjoyed a date night. She was comfortable in a new environment and immediately demonstrated that she was very capable and dependable as soon as we met her. We were happy to know that she has also been a nanny for 3+ years for kids of similar age. We would certainly hire Ahlea again upon a future trip back to the area.
