About Aissa

I can help with Writing and Math! I am a very patient and overall good student. I started my tutoring journey during the Covid-19 pandemic. This was something my parents suggested I do to help out my community. I reached out to my neighbors and I assisted their kids with transitioning to online learning, helping out with school assignments, and guiding them through writing essays. The main topics I tutored were English and Algebra, I mainly worked with high school students. However, I am well-rounded in all mathematic topics so feel free to reach out to me if you have any other requests. At the beginning of my tutoring sessions, I like to get to know the student a little and kind of figure out where their strengths lie. My teaching style does not involve me reading off a textbook I like to communicate and work one on one with the student. As well, I do not overcomplicate things because I know it can be overwhelming so I like to make things concise and straightforward. Here to help :)
