Alem is a caring, responsible, conscientious, and loving caregiver who I can not recommend strongly enough. She was the nanny for our son (18 mos) for the last 12 months, in a nanny share with another boy the same age. Alem was dedicated, reliable, and friendly. Most importantly, the love she had with the kids was evident from the start, as was the love and connection that they had with her. Alem is the perfect blend of being willing to follow parents' instructions and guidance on how to care for children, while also tactfully offering suggestions based on her years of experience dealing with kids of all ages. Even in situations that hadn't been discussed in advance she always showed excellent judgment. Dealing with two infants at once can be a handful, but Alem was patient and kind with the kids even when they weren't at their best. She showed up to work with a smile on her face, and was just as cheerful and energetic at the end of the day. Having worked with other nannies in the past, Alem is by far the best I've ever had. If we hadn't planned to move our son to daycare when he got close to turning two, I have no doubt that we would still be working with her today.
