About Alessandra

Working with children is something that is very fun for me! As an aspiring Audiologist, I work with patients of all ages, and having a job where I can constantly be interacting with others is important to me and keeps myself entertained. Throughout high school, I babysat a family friend's children. He had 5 children, at the time ranging from toddler-age to 5th grade. The kids kept me busy- from running around in the backyard playing soccer, to going to get some ice cream at the local shop, to watching a movie. During the summer of 2018, I worked at a summer camp in western Maryland called Camp Greentop. This summer camp was designed for both adults and children with disabilities. This experience taught me strength and independence. Summer of 2019, I babysat 2 children, ages 5 and 7. Similar to the family friend's children, they definitely kept me on my feet! Summer of 2021, worked with a 12-year-old girl with autism. She taught me so much. It was a great experience!
