About Alexander

Three of my grandparents declined in health and ultimately passed away in very quick succession in the early 2010s. They were very close to me and some of my most pivotal life lessons I learned from them. I always say, "my Moo taught me how to be a good person" I've I'm ever thanked for a kind act in public. "Moo", my grandmother was a tremendous woman and over the course of a decade Alzheimer's and prefrontal aphasia made it difficult to speak, remember, and really be the person she truly was. My family and I have been research participants for memory and aging project at Washington university in St. Louis and I am deeply committed to preserving the dignity of our elders. I love to cook and I love to hear old folks tell their stories. Providing my grandparents with companionship is one of the better memories I have and if a family might need a little help to have good memories I would love to help!
