About Alexandra

I'd describe my personality as playful, kind, and considerate. I like working with kids because of their natural sense of wonder. I work hard to instill that sense of wonder and magic in young children for as long as possible (hopefully forever!). I enjoy building confidence in young people, making them feel seen, heard, and valued. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with families who share a similar child-rearing style as me. Play-based, nature-focused, following the seasons, following the child's lead, and being mindful but not permissive. In Spring 2020 I began nannying out of my home. By Summer 2021 I had expanded and was running an in-home licensed childcare. I did that until last Summer when I began working as a private nanny. In my spare time, I like to be with family, friends, and active in my community. I enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, hand-sewing, gardening, thrifting, and playing board games.
