About Alexandra

Hello! I live in the Harford County area with my school age son and our two large rescue dogs. I am a graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have over 20 years experience with school age children and the public school system, over 10 years experience working in family focused private early learning schools and 5 years working with students of all ages at a tutoring center. I believe in long term commitment and consistency with regard to the role of a private nanny caregiver- I have worked with four families to assist, new and experienced, parents navigate parenthood and family dynamics. I teach children through exploration and purposeful discovery- indoors and out with nature. I allow children to engage in a variety of experiences and environments while supporting their interests, encouraging through confidence building activities and interaction- focus on creating an independent child while building the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
