About Alexis

As a compassionate and patient child care provider of 15+ years, my childcare history includes babysitting, nannying, tutoring, working in a daycare, and camp counseling children from newborn-16 years old. My higher education includes Developmental Psychology, early childhood education, and an internship with a first grade class. Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment are my highest priorities when in a caretaking role. I am first aid and CPR (AHA) trained and have experience working as a Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I am also an herbalist who is generally easy going and open minded in nature. Some things that I love include: being outdoors, herbalism, hiking, organizing, meal prepping, event planning, yoga, live music, lakes in the mountains, gardening, crafting, adapting to new circumstances, and learning about other cultures.
