I have been raised around family friends who have younger children and have always enjoyed playing with them and babysitting when needed. The last few summers I have spent working at camps, one where I was a swim aid and the second I was a camp counselor. In both situations the children were between 5 and 12 years of age. What I enjoyed the most was forming a bond with the individual child as well as getting to know their personality. I plan to become a pediatric or a NICU nurse so I feel like this would be a great way to spend my summers.
