About Alison

I am a teacher with 25 years experience. I like working with senior adults and spending time with them. My parents are in their 80s, so I understand the challenges. I have volunteered with mid cities care corps, metroport meals on wheels, church meal provision to senior communities, and a physical therapy clinic. I am single and looking for ways to serve this summer. I'd describe my personality as reserved, dedicated, genuine. I like caring for seniors because they listen and are not typically in a hurry. Seniors are wise and have so much to offer to our society. They need to feel valued and important. In my spare time, I like to do puzzles, read, take walks, swim, Bible studies, workout, and listen to music. My skills include patience, strong listener, compassionate.
