About Alison

I am a 5th grade teacher in Acton, MA looking for a part time summer nanny position for the 2024 summer! I typically like to work with infants and toddlers over the summer to change things up. I have over 18 years of experience working with young children, including eight summers working as a nanny and preschool teacher for children ages 4 months to 4 years. I have also spent three summers teaching summer school to children ages 3 to 7. My teaching and nannying experience includes working with children with learning disabilities, Down syndrome, and communication disorders, and children on the spectrum. I have a Master's degree in Special Education in addition to my Bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology. I also taught swimming lessons and worked as a lifeguard for several years. I am hoping to find a family in need of childcare 2-3 days a week for this summer. My availability is July 1st through August 16th.
