About Alissa

Hi! My name is Alissa. I am originally from Utah. While in college my first job was a preschool teacher working with infants - age 4. Throughout the remainder of college I worked at an after school program for at-risk youth working with ages 5-18 years old. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Weber State University with an emphasis in Spanish in 2016. I taught 1st-3rd grade in the Bronx, New York for 2. 5 yrs. In 2019 I moved to Arizona to attend Grad School at Arizona State University. During this time I taught Kinder in South Phoenix to predominantly Spanish speaking students. I graduated December 2021 with my masters degree in special education. For the past 2 yrs. I have been teaching special education grade K-6 in Phoenix. I am retiring from teaching in the school system but still have desire to help our youth succeed in all aspects of life. I am honest, reliable, passionate, dedicated and here to do whatever it takes to help your child reach their goals.
