About Alissa

My name is Alissa. I am 20 years old and just completed my second year at Wheaton College as an Art major. I have had several years of experience caring for children ages 0-5 years old throughout high school and into my time at college. In high school, I volunteered at my church nursery for 2 years caring for infants 0-24 months, and during junior year I worked in a nursery caring for children ages 0-5 years old. I have also babysat for families with up to 3 children, ages 3 months-3 years old. Some of my responsibilities in these positions (babysitting and nursery) included bottle feeding, snack time, playtime, putting infants to sleep, changing diapers or help/supervision in the bathroom, and reading stories. I enjoy working with young children, but am willing to expand to elementary school and middle school ages as well. I am willing to do light housework and I am comfortable with friendly pets! I love arts and crafts and would enjoy doing projects with little ones:)
