I have experience working with seniors in several aspects. I started off at an early age. My mother used to go to nursing homes and sing and I would join in with her and her group. Sometimes, I would just sit and listen to their amazing stories. As I got older, I wanted to help out more so I worked for a company in Connecticut where I would go to seniors homes and help out. Whether it was preparing their meals, offer companionship, do errands, house cleaning or personal hygiene. I also have experience with young adults who have disabilities such as Chrone's Disease and Cerebral Palsy, so I am capable in handling seniors with disabilities. I have a Culinary degree as well, so for many years I was a chef or a restaurant manager at Assistant Living Communities. I love working with seniors because they always manage to bring a smile to my face and can give you an outlook on life that you never thought of before. They are wise and experienced. Allison is a wonderful human being. Attentive, patient and fun loving with kids of all ages even seniors. Her love for life shows through her work caring for children, seniors and animals. Would recommend her to anyone needing that special person or animal in their life taken care of.
