About Allyse

I recently just moved here from Chicago, to attend nursing school. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old, and started summer nannying when I was 16. I became a year round nanny when I was 18, until I moved here to Fort Wayne two years ago. I enjoy playing with the children, I like to do arts & crafts, puzzles, play outside, make up our own games, have dance parties & other activities as the parents allow. I don't like sitting the children in front of the TV the entire time that I am there, I rather be playing with them, but sometimes a little down time isn't a bad idea either :) . I have also taught preschool for two years, I was in charge of the nursery at my Church every Sunday, I worked with the Easter Bunny & Santa taking pictures at my local mall during the holiday seasons, and I have traveled to an abused and neglected children's home in Texas for a week out of the summer for 9 years. I am a CNA in the state of Illinois and I am medical CPR/ First Aid certified. I really miss babysitting/nannying in Chicago and I hope to find a family that I can continue to make a difference in a child's life!
