About Allyson
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a former Kindergarten teacher with a degree in Special Education. I am a mother of 3 children ages 12, 15, and 20 and step-mom to an 12 and 15-year-old as well! I home-schooled my children for 7 years. Since moving from South Carolina in 2012, I have worked in the Child Center at the Cranberry Municipal center caring for children ages birth through 6 years and worked at our church, Crossroads UMC in Cranberry, for 3 years as the Children's Ministry Director. I most recently taught at Eden Christian Academy and am seeking an opportunity that fits well with our family of 7! I do have my PA and FBI clearances. This year I am offering care in my home for preschool aged kids. I will offer a structured morning of lessons, story time, crafts and play. I hope to incorporate cooking in our lunch time routine and outdoor play after nap time. I love books, music, the outdoors and animals. In our spare time, my family likes to fish, kayak and have campfires with smores of course!
