About Alyssa

I am 21 years old, in college at California Baptist University studying art education. I have a passion for art, education, and business. I have aspirations to open a day care and teach art. I've been the oldest child of four growing up. I quickly learned how much of a natural motherly instinct I had. I have been babysitting friends and families children throughout high-school and college. I worked for Alvord School District teaching art to 1st through 5th graders. I spend my free time painting, writing, going outside, and cooking. I'm a warm soul children respond well too. I'm a natural caregiver and I love spending one on one time with children doing activities that help them learn, grow, and have fun. I am CPR and lifeguard certified for children, have taken 60 units in education courses at CBU, and have training in classroom settings. I have mainly worked with infants all the way up to 5th grade and have nanny experience with two special needs children ages 2 and 4 for one year.
