About Alyssa

I am in my seventh year of teaching high school math! I am currently teaching AP Calc, AP CSP, Alg 2, and Math Reasoning this year but have also taught Geometry and Stats in the past. I absolutely love what I do and because of that I tutor in my free time. I very much enjoy helping students who struggle with math or just want extra practice one on one. My patience and kind personality (as well as my amazing math skills) shine when I tutor. I'd describe my personality as happy, patient, and creative. I like tutoring because I like helping students get a better grasp on the subject that not everyone loves! It's not as scary as it seems. I started tutoring when I was in college. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, and hangout with my reptiles. One thing you should know about me is I will adapt my teaching style to what your child needs to be successful. My skills include patience, knowledge, and organization.
