About Alyssa

I currently work as a Special Education Assistant at Harpeth High School and am available for date nights and weekends. I am available during the summer during the day for one time jobs or part time recurring jobs. I love working with kids because they are so amazing to watch grow. Seeing how the young minds work is so rewarding. I started working with kids when I was 12 but even before that I was taking care of my younger brother who is 6 years younger. Most recently I was a nanny for a family with two children (4 and 6) and those kids were my pride and joy. One thing you should know about me is I work to build trust and connection with both kids and parents. Leaving your kids with someone and kids being with a new person can be scary. But I want the kids to love being around me and the parents to trust I am here to support the family as a whole. I am CPR certified, seizure and medication trained, and have experience working with children and individuals with disabilities
