About Alyssa

Hello, I'm Alyssa! I have 12+ years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of fields. I have also worked the past 2 years as a household manager and personal assistant for a Charlotte-based family. I am a licensed mental health counselor for children, I have been a nanny and babysitter to many wonderful families across the state of NC, and I have also worked for years as a birthday party princess performer. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood development and psychology and a master's degree in counseling. With my experience and expertise, I approach childcare with knowledge of the best practices to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being and growth of your children. With my background in the performing arts, I also bring an enthusiastic and present energy to my work every day! I love to sing, dance, play, read, do crafts, and help with homework.
