About Amanda

I am a second-grade teacher with 7 years of experience. I am knowledgeable in aiding K-3 students to improve in reading and math. I am able to gather and analyze data to assess a student's areas of need, then create lessons and practice to help improve those areas. I enjoy working with kids and strive to provide fun learning experiences for all my students! I am also able to help students maintain their skills over the summer by providing guided reading practice and math practice! I am also available for private swimming lessons. I have 7 years of experience teaching swimming lessons. I have worked for both the youth orgsummer camp program and the Westport Parks and Recreation swimming program. I am willing to work with students from as young as 3 to get them comfortable in the water, to students as old as 15 in order to improve their competitive swimming skills.
