About Amanda

I am a soon-to-be graduate of the music therapy program at the University of Miami, living in Orlando for my internship at a children's hospital! I have babysat infants in Miami and worked part-time at a daycare for children ages 2 months-8 years over summers, assisting teachers and leading music enrichment classes. I have led Mommy & Me style music classes on-campus for children ages 4 months-5 years and have had practicum placements at early intervention sites with infants/children ages 2 months-4 years with developmental delays/medical complications, as well as a pediatric hospital with children ages 1-27 years on the gastrointestinal unit. I am looking to pursue an additional degree to become a child-life specialist. I am CPR certified and complete background/drug testing each year for my clinical practicum. Due to my internship hours, I currently have limited availability on occasional weekends, but after January I will have much more availability.
