About Amanda E

I've worked with kids all my life, as an infant caregiver, a preschool teacher, a volunteer at after school programs at elementary schools, and now I teach at the university level. I, very literally, have experience working with kids of all ages. I'm active and believe kids have the brightest of minds; they keep me on my toes and introduce me to new ideas as much as I do to them. I have experience with neurodivergence, as well, making adjustments as needed to make everyone feel safe, heard, informed, and validated. I'm also happy to help with meals (I love to cook!), homework (I'm a math teacher!), and anything sports or outdoorsy (I'm an avid runner and backpacker). Currently, I am able to help out at most twice a week. I am in the midst of starting a new job and do not have a consistent schedule yet.
