About Amanda

Hi prospective parents! My name is Amanda and I am a 43-year-old living in Glenview looking to baby-sit and/or nanny for the 24/25 school year. I have over 25 years of child care experience, both professionally and personally, and love kids. My last job was as a teacher's assistant/paraprofessional in a third through fifth grade class. I am comfortable with the main curriculum of the school, and I have worked with special education. I have been the nanny that is the driver, the nanny that helps with homework and structure, I am the creative, fun nanny with crafts. I have a clear record- driving and background check. I have reliable transportation. I was a swim instructor and lifeguard, and knew CPR and first aid skills, that need to be refreshed. I will do job share and morning hours. I have elementary education credits from undergrad, and I have been both a tutor and a mentor through school. I plan to go back to school in the next few months.
