My name is Amanda and I am a High School English Teacher in Concord, NC. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor's of Education in English Education 6-12, and I have several years of experience in various forms of childcare. I have been a nanny for a handful of families throughout my years in college, working with children ages 9 months- 12 years old for families between one to five children. I have experience with sick children, special needs children, and multiples. I have worked three summers at Camp Grace, an overnight summer camp that works with at-risk urban youth. As a counselor, I was responsible for 6-8 girls ages 7-18. I volunteer in my church's children ministry and worked for a year as a tutor at a local family development center. I am patient, compassionate, and am all about teachable moments! I love crafts, adventures, and the outdoors- I am unafraid of getting dirty and love to say yes!

I have loved working with Amanda, she is always on time, takes direction well, is very reliable, and is willing to accommodate to your needs. She is flexible and very patient. She devotes her time to the job and ensures your little one is taken care of. She has been a pleasure to work with. I always feel comfortable leaving for work knowing my son will be in good hands.
