About Amanda

I've always had a passion for nurturing children and helping them learn and grow. With 7 years of experience as a childcare provider, I've had the privilege of supporting families and making a positive impact on the lives of children. I'm a patient and calm individual with a creative and imaginative side. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any concerns that arise. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including educational games that promote learning and development. I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children of various ages, from infants to preteens. In addition to my experience, I've completed coursework in early child development from my degree. I previously worked as a Childcare Director for the YMCA Before & Afterschool program along with their summer camp program.
