About Amanda

I have always had a natural gift for getting along with children. I grew up with three younger siblings and we've grown up close in age. Though we were only 4 years apart, I have learned from my little sister how to appeal to the needs of a younger mind and how to relate to younger kids. To help out with the family, I have babysat my cousin for a week while we were at the beach. I also watched over my roommate's sister for a day to help her out. I have worked with kids in musical theater and have been told repeatedly how great I am with kids. I am petite and I feel that this makes children feel like they can relate to me. I am youthful and fun but also very responsible and intelligent. Going through a rigorous accelerated program in high school (International Baccalaureate program) has taught me discipline and good time management skills. I have learned well how to balance multiple responsibilities and am a talented multitask-er.
