About Amanda

From a young age I have been a nurturer so I began babysitting at 11 and have continued to work with children in some capacity ever since. From coaching various sports to directing a middle school after school program, I have had the pleasure of working with nearly every age group. The majority of my experience is with children aged 3mos-4yrs. After graduating from college with a degree in psychology, I decided to turn part time nannying into my full time career. A decade of nannying later and I am still loving it! I strive to provide a loving and engaging environment to foster the mental, emotional, and physical growth of the children in my care. I have an absolute passion and joy for my job and want to share that with the families who employ me. I've spent the better part of the last 7 years working with the same family, while cycling through several share families as their needs have changed. It's bittersweet to be looking for my next position but I am excited for this new chapter!
