I have spent my life caring for animals. My first puppy was a Beagle mix I raised and loved for 15 years. My second dog just passed about a year ago and she was a 16-year-old mini-doxie. I am not ready to love that hard again but I need the company of dogs. I have 2 cats currently, both of whom have no dog issues as I frequently have sleepovers with my friends' dogs for days! I have a fully fenced in back-yard with plenty of room for running, fetching, sun bathing, sprinkler snapping, and general rough-housing. If your baby likes to sleep in a pack or close to a human, I welcome the snuggles. Animals come here for a little respite, spoiling and vacation. You will receive photo dumps of your pet's resort experience for comfort and hilarity while you are away from them. I do love a dog park as well. Again, my cats have always lived with dogs and are not aggressive or even particularly curious about them. I work from home so your babies will always have a buddy around.
