About Amanda

I am a highly patient, resilient, and caring individual. My background in environmental engineering and a 2-year internship in environmental education for children equipped me with effective communication skills, using lectures, educational games, and puppet theater to make learning fun. My most relevant experience as an au pair for 2 years involved caring for three children, one of whom has autism and OCD. I chauffeured them to school, prepared meals, organized activities, and ensured their individual needs were met. I began working with them when they were 1, 3, and 6 years old, allowing me to develop specific skills for caring for children of different ages. Furthermore, I have always been passionate about taking care of children, having assisted in raising my younger brother and cousins over the years. This personal experience has solidified my commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, fostering their development and well-being.
