I'd describe my personality as reliable, kind, and silly! I'm looking to do something that I find joy in that I can also earn money from which is why I think that childcare is a great fit for me. I love working with kids and since I don't have any of my own I'm able to find the time that I spend with them fun and refreshing. I started working with kids when I began volunteering as a patient pal at Children's Health Medical Center a little over a year ago. As a patient pal I will sit with patients anywhere from 2 weeks old to 18 years old and do whatever they need from a companion, whether it be giving a baby a bottle and rocking them to sleep, playing go fish with a kid who needs a friend, or just sitting and chatting with a bored teenager. In my spare time, I like to read on my couch with my cat by my side. I also like to spend time outdoors taking walks or paddle boarding on the lake. My skills include patience, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail
