About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda and I've been a nanny for 5 years. My work as a nanny has brought me great joy, knowledge and experience. I love seeing children learn and grow, and I enjoy being a part of that process. I'm also the oldest of seven children with an 18-year difference between myself and the youngest, where I helped out with everything, from diaper changes and bath time, to teaching my 3-year-old brother the alphabet and letter sounds. I have babysat for many families and have even done some tutoring. Other work experiences have been at the Disney Store where I was able to engage with children on a regular basis and responsibilities have included hosting small in-store events for them such as trivia and story time, I am also a licensed cosmetologist and have worked in a salon. These roles have helped me to be a good listener, communicate well with children, and have good social perceptiveness. I am a critical thinker and active learner.
