About Amanda

Hi! I'm a wife and a mother of two sweet boys, ages 11 and 4. I have had many years of experience working with children in some capacity. I babysat as a child, but my first formal career working with children was at a childcare center, where I worked for 7 years. I worked with children ages infancy through school age. After my first child was born, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom. It was then that I started running my own in-home daycare, and ended up doing that until my child started kindergarten. The children I cared for ranged in age from infancy to school age. When I wasn't staying home with my child any longer, I decided to take a job at a local elementary school as a special education instructional assistant. I've had 6 years of experience in this field, and have worked at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I'm passionate, hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, patient and kind.
