About Amber

I am originally from the greater Boston area, but have been living in Western PA for two years. I graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2017 with a BS in Environmental Science and a minor in Biology. I am a MACTE certified Infant/Toddler Montessori teacher and received my accreditation in the summer of 2022 from Heart and Hand MTEP. Most of my work experience has been in early childhood education. I am currently working full-time as a Wish Specialist for Make-A-Wish in Pittsburgh, so I'm primarily looking for part time weekend hours. My work in childcare centers both in OR and PA have required me to obtain all of my clearances, including (but not limited to) CPR, first aid, fire safety, and NSOR. I prefer to be outdoors-hiking, snowboarding- but I also love to read.
