About Amber

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, gentle, and creative. I like caring for seniors because I was raised by my grandparents, therefore, I have always connected with elders. I was raised understanding the patience, and compassion someone must obtain to work with seniors who are in need of assistance, or companionship. I have always enjoyed time reading together, telling stories and learning from the generations before me. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be exactly who I am. Trustworthy, kindhearted and outspoken. I value myself, I would appreciate an employer who sees value in me as well. I started caring for seniors, as an aide. When I joined the US Navy, I found myself around a lot of men and women my age. I didn't feel as though I was connecting much. I started volunteering as a hospice aide, I kept with this until my last year in the navy before I moved home to Minnesota. In my spare time, I like to play piano, sing, read and write poetry, hike and rock climb.
