About Amber

I have 1 year experience with tutoring a 3rd grader in math. I also have 2 years teaching and 1 year substituting. I was a long term substitute for an inclusion special education teacher, as well as being in many different classrooms. My background gives me great experience in all grade levels, from Kindergarten to 6th grade, with all subjects. I am also experienced with differentiating assignments and lessons to best help a child learn. I desire to help a child to his/her fullest potential. I would like to have access to whatever the parent and/or teacher is willing to provide to me before my first lesson with the child (most recent test, assignments, projects, etc.). I change my method of teaching to match each individual child that I tutor so they are more likely to succeed. I am easy to reach and respond quickly.
