About Amelia

I'd describe my personality as patient, gentle, and compassionate. I like working with animals because I care for their health, feelings, and well-being. I'm looking for a job that enables me to help and care for animals. I care for my own pets daily, and have owned a variety of pets throughout my life. In my spare time, I like to hike, camp, listen to music, cook and bake, create art, drive, learn, explore and of course, play with my cat, Moe. My skills include basic-level pet care: feeding, cleaning and maintaining pet environment/habitat, ensuring safety of pet, observing any signs of discomfort/pain/illness, giving attention, positive and negative reinforcements, walking, playing, engaging, administering medications/prescriptions, etc.
