About Amy

I am currently a 2nd grade teacher and have over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher in grades k-5. I have an extensive background working with a diverse student population and using a variety of instructional practices, with emphasis on intervention strategies and working with reluctant learners. Building warm, caring relationships and holding high expectations using a strengths based approach are the foundation of my work with students.
