About Amy

I am looking to provide short term childcare to families in East LA and the surrounding suburbs. I am currently taking a break from working in the corporate world and have a flexible schedule. My approach to working with children is to be patient, listen to their needs, and engage in their interests. I enjoy working with children because their curiosity, creativity, and optimism inspire me. When taking care of your children, I will engage in games, play, learning, reading, and any other interests. I am originally from Chicago and moved to the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles in the summer of 2023. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, music, hiking, yoga, podcasts, exploring LA/SoCal, karaoke, shopping, spending time with friends, FaceTiming family, and resting. My experience with childcare started as a preteen with family friends, cousins, and neighborhood kids. I also have experience mentoring junior high and high school kids.
