I have over a decade of experience working with children. I have babysat for many families, worked as a Daycare and Preschool Assistant, volunteered at an Afterschool Center, interned in Kids' Ministry, worked as Lead Staff at Kids Stuff in the YMCA, and taught English/Language Arts and Math for grades K-8. As a certified teacher and previously-licensed foster parent, I was certified in both First Aid and CPR. Since these expire every couple of years, mine are current, but am willing to get recertified. I enjoy planning creative activities for a wide-range of youth, am capable of tutoring, and don't mind some housework. Compensation would be dependent on amount of children and ages, and the responsibilities. Typically I charge $25-$30/hour for tutoring, because of the prep work involved to be fully strategic in supporting the learning needs. Less per hour for childcare. I currently am residing outside of Las Vegas; just moved to Nevada from North Carolina.
