About Amy

I am an occupational therapy assistant, and experienced in working with elderly adults with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dysphagia, psychological issues, and mobility issues. I am passionate about providing safe, compassionate care that respects the dignity and independence of the seniors I work with. I strive to provide the kind of care I would want my own parents to receive. I am experienced in all aspects of personal care including dressing, grooming, toileting, med management, meal prep and feeding, and household help. I've worked with seniors who need only minimal support for safety, those who are dependent in all aspects of care, and many in between. I enjoy music, reading, crafts, cooking, the outdoors, and take pride in being a positive, patient companion for the seniors I work with.
