My most current nanny position was for a family of 3 children, a 6-year-old boy and 2 girls, ages 4 and 3. I had been with the family for over 5 years, and took care of each child since 3 months of age. A typical week consisted of following a daily schedule that always includes preparing healthy, age appropriate meals, scheduled nap times, art activities, educational games/ mini lessons, outdoor play, trips to planned outings such as museums, parks, play centers, and driving children to and from school. I kept up with basic housekeeping and would do grocery shopping/, laundry at times. I was also a part time nanny for 4 year boy and 1. 5 year girl for a year where my job similar. Before I became a nanny a year, I was a 7th grade language arts teacher for 5 years, a 4th grade general education teacher for 3 years, and have worked in multiple classrooms in a Montessori School that included at least a year in an infant, toddler, 2-year-old, and 3-6-year-old classroom.
