When I taught Sunday School at the pre-K level during high school, I babysat for several of the families at my church. I babysat mostly for one family with 3 children, ages 5, 7, and 9. I was responsible for feeding, entertaining, and cleaning up after the children, as well as occasionally driving them to various activities. When I take care of children, I make sure to plan activities that are fun for their specific ages. I love crafts, especially minimally-messy crafts such as pipe cleaner caterpillars. I also love encouraging education (I am a full-time teacher), so I take time to read with children (they always love I Spy books). Outside of teaching, I love ballroom & Irish dancing and traveling to small towns in Georgia, as I have recently moved from California.
